EARPSPORTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GOLF
- Golfers must be fully paid up club members and possess official recognised handicap certificates
- All nominated performances must be achieved in official club competitions and county stroke matches, played during the qualification period (open comps, county matches, club comps, stroke and stableford) – only one performance per week counts, being the final nominated performance. Match play and bogey competitions do not qualify, nor do any multiple team formats – unless stipulated specifically as a pairs style qualifying competition
- All weekly performances will be counted between Friday 11.59.59pm and the next Friday 11.59.59pm, irrespective of monthly overlaps
- Performances will be counted within calendar months of all weekends April through to October (except in 2008, in which qualification will be from May to October) – monthly performances will count in relation to the weekly qualification criteria, with the final weekly nomination counting towards your monthly score
- Points awarded for birdies (one under), eagles (two under) and albatrosses (three under) do not include handicap and are awarded to the course hole par figure – irrespective of course standard scratch
- Players found in breach of fair play, by submitting false scores will be disqualified, and their club will be notified to administer penalties accordingly
- Juniors will qualify if they are under 18 years of age as of January 1st annually
- Seniors are included in adult competitions
- Nominations must be submitted by 11.59.59pm of the Friday following weekend competitions
- Results will be posted on the golf results page of earpsports.com on the Saturday following the previous week’s competition
- Any number of nominations per week can be made, but only the final entry will count
- Members will be advised to check when submitting entries whether they wish to replace previous submitted weekly scores
- Players are advised to check forms thoroughly before submitting to avoid error
- Players awarded prizes are allowed up to twelve months to collect their award – if prizes are not collected within this period they will be forfeited
- Points scoring will be as follows: 2 points per two (in addition to birdies, eagles and albatrosses) / 3 points per birdie / 5 points per eagle / 8 points for a hole in one (in addition to eagles and albatrosses) / 10 points for an albatross / 12 points for a course record / 2 points per stroke (medal) or point (stableford)
- Weekly ‘top performer’ awards will be rewarded in line with qualification dates listed. The highest weekly points scorer wins. Where players are tied on points, a countback system will be applied to separate as follows: a) a course record, b) most birdies, c) most eagles, d) best round to handicap, e) most holes in one, f) most albatrosses, g) a random draw to separate remaining tied players - players still tied after a) will apply tiebreak b) and so on, until one player remains. However, if two or more players are still equal a random draw will separate
- Monthly performance awards will be rewarded on a collated points basis, achieved adding the final nominated weekly score each week. The highest accumulated points’ scorer wins. Where players are tied on points, a countback system will take place as follows: a) most points scored in best four weeks added together wins (in five week months), b) most points scored in best three weeks added together, c) most points scored in best two weeks added together, d) most points scored in best week, e) a random draw to separate remaining tied players
- Annual performance awards will be rewarded on a collated points basis, achieved adding weekly scores. The highest accumulated points’ scorer wins. Where players are tied on points, a countback system will take place as follows: a) most points scored in best six months added together wins, b) most points in best five months added together, c) most points in best four months added together, d) most points in best three months added together, e) most points in best two months added together, f) most points in best month, g) a random draw to separate remaining tied players
- Tiebreakers will separate all tied points positions. Tie breaks will work in order of category a) onwards, irrespective of better scores achieved at later tie break sections
- No discussion will be entered into and the final decision rests with the management of earpsports.com
- No full time professional golfers may be allowed to participate
- Participation is open to both male and female competitors
- All players must be members of earpsports.com

CRICKET
- Cricketers must adhere to individual club and league rules in terms of player registrations – players that fail to comply with league and club rules will be disqualified. Individual leagues and clubs will be notified to deal with accordingly
- All nominated adult performances must be achieved in official Saturday league competitions – junior performances can be achieved in any school, club or youth county fixture on any day of the week
- All weekly performances will be counted between Friday 11.59.59pm and the next Friday 11.59.59pm, irrespective of monthly overlaps
- Performances will be counted within calendar months of all Saturdays May through to August – monthly performances will count in relation to the weekly qualification criteria, with the final weekly nomination counting towards your monthly score
- Players found in breach of fair play, by submitting false scores will be disqualified, and their club will be notified to administer penalties accordingly
- Juniors will qualify if they are under 19 years of age as of May 1st annually
- Nominations must be submitted by 11.59.59pm of the Friday following the Saturday matches
- Results will be posted on the cricket results page of earpsports.com on the Saturday following the previous week’s competition
- Any number of nominations per week can be made, but only the final entry will count
- Members will be advised to check when submitting entries whether they wish to replace previous submitted weekly scores
- Players are advised to check forms thoroughly before submitting to avoid error
- Players awarded prizes are allowed up to twelve months to collect their award – if prizes are not collected within this period they will be forfeited
- Points scoring will be as follows: Batters - 1 point per run + 10pts not out + 10pts for hitting four or more sixes in an innings / Bowlers - 20 points per wicket + 10 pts for a hat trick / Keepers/Fielders - 20 points per catch or stumping
- Weekly ‘top performer’awards will be rewarded in line with weekly qualifying dates listed. The highest points scorer wins.
- Where players are tied on points, a countback system will be applied to separate as follows: a) most points adding together runs in an innings + wickets taken, b) most points adding together runs in an innings + catches and stumpings, c) most points adding together wickets taken and catches and stumpings, d) a random draw to separate remaining tied players - players still tied after a) will apply teibreak b) and so on until one player remains. However, if two or more players are still equal a random draw will separate.
- Monthly cricket performance awards will be as Golf 17
- Annual cricket performance awards will be as Golf 18
- Cricket tiebreaks will be as Golf 19
- No discussion will be entered into and the final decision rests with the management of earpsports.com
- No contracted professional cricketers are allowed to participate
- Participation is open to both male and female competitors
- All players must be members of earpsports.com

CRUSHERS (CRICKET, FOOTBALL, RUGBY UNION)
- Clubs must adhere to league rules in terms of club affiliations – clubs that fail to comply with league rules will be disqualified. Individual leagues will be notified to deal with accordingly
- All nominated performances must be achieved in official league or cup competitions, played on any day of the week
- Performances will be counted within all days of the calendar months as follows: Cricket – May to August / Football and Rugby Union – September to April
- Clubs found in breach of fair play, by submitting false scores will be disqualified, and their league will be notified to administer penalties accordingly
- Junior clubs will be recognised as such through their age group identification or all school fixtures up to and including under 19 age groups for that season
- Nominations must be submitted by 11.59.59pm Friday for fixtures played from the previous Friday 11.59.59pm
- Results will be posted on the individual relevant sports results page of earpsports.com on the Saturday following the previous week’s competition
- Any number of nominations per week can be made, but only the final entry will count
- Members will be advised to check when submitting entries whether they wish to replace previous submitted weekly scores
- Clubs are advised to check forms thoroughly before submitting to avoid error
- Clubs awarded prizes are allowed up to twelve months to collect their prize – if prizes are not collected within this period they will be forfeited
- Scoring will be as follows: CRICKET – Batting first wins = 1 point for every run won by + 1 point for every run scored over 300 runs / Bowling first = 20 points for every wicket won by + 1 point for every run under 100 opponents were bowled out for - the highest points scorer wins. FOOTBALL – Goal difference won by - greatest margin of goal difference wins / RUGBY UNION – Points difference won by - greatest margin of points difference wins.
- Weekly ‘crushers’ will be awarded within the qualifying weeks as stipulated in 3. Each weekly winner will be automatically forwarded into the annual ‘crushers’ list, where one weekly winner will win the annual ‘crushers of the year’ in each sporting code of Cricket, Football and Rugby Union.
- Where teams are tied on points, goal difference, or points difference a countback system will be operated as follows: CRICKET a) most runs scored, b) least runs conceded, c) a random draw to separate remaining tied teams. FOOTBALL a) away win, b) least goals conceded, c) a random draw to separate remaining tied teams. RUGBY UNION a) away win, b) least points conceded, c) a random draw to separate remaining tied teams - see 16 for random draw tied teams
- The team with the most crushing performance of the year, in each category, will win the annual ‘crushers of the year’ award. Where teams are tied on points, goal difference, or points difference a countback system will be operated as 14 above
- Where weekly winners are tied and not separated until the random draw, all tied weekly teams in the random draw will be forwarded to the finals list
- No discussion will be entered into and the final decision rests with the management of earpsports.com
- Cricket teams with more than two current county professionals are not allowed to participate. Semi–professional Football and Rugby Union teams will be allowed to participate.
- Participation is open to both male and female competitive teams
- All teams must be members of earpsports.com
ANGLING
- Anglers must adhere to individual club and league rules in terms of player registrations – anglers that fail to comply with league and club rules will be disqualified. Individual leagues and clubs will be notified to deal with accordingly
- All nominated performances must be achieved in official angling coarse fishing competitions
- ‘My best catch’ submissions must have photographic support
- All performances will be counted before deadline competition dates
- Performances will be counted within the sectional dates advised
- Players found in breach of fair play, by submitting false results will be disqualified, and their club will be notified to administer penalties accordingly
- Nominations must be submitted weekly following competitions
- Results will be posted on the angling results page of www.earpsports.com
- The final nominated entry per week will count
- Players are advised to check forms thoroughly before submitting to avoid error
- Players awarded prizes are allowed up to twelve months to collect their award – if prizes are not collected within this period they will be forfeited
- Points scoring will be as follows: 1st = 10pts / 2nd = 8pts / 3rd = 6pts / 4th = 4pts / 5th = 2pts
- The annual winner will be identified by adding all nominated scores
- Tiebreaks for sectional competitions will be based on count back as follows: a) most wins, b) most second places, c) most third places, d) most fourth places, e)most fifth places and if still equal a random draw will take place
- Tiebreaks for overall season winner will be as 14
- No discussion will be entered into and the final decision rests with the management of earpsports
- Participation is open to both male and female competitors
- All players must be members of www.earpsports.com

CLOTHING
- Please allow up to 21 days for delivery for ‘top performer’ baseball caps and polo shirts, supplied by Somerset County Sports
- Personal sizes and selections must be advised to Somerset County Sports. Any complaints must be forwarded to SCS for remedy
- All ‘top performer’ polo shirts will be black with the earpsports logo embroidered
- All baseball caps will be black with the circular ES section of the logo embroidered
GENERAL
- Individual and team membership privacy will be respected at all times and details of no members will be forwarded to third parties (other than prize award suppliers)
- All photographs published will not be forwarded to any other party other than the website of their club, for promotion
- No photographs of juniors (under 19s) will be published by earpsports - unless permssion is provided by the parents or guardian. However earpsports will fully support clubs that wish to publish photographs of juniors winning earpsports awards
- Following monthly matches between monthly winners and earpsports, photographs will be published where permitted by monthly winners, parents or guardians
- Earpsports reserves the right to adjust and develop prize awards and qualifying processes as it grows. Earpsports will alter specific categories out of the relevant sports’ season to avoid confusion
- Golf prize winners should be aware of Royal and Ancient prize rules for amateur golfers, which limit competition wins to a maximum of £500. Earpsports is in line with these prizes, including the trip to Costa Blanca

- Regions and national categories are defined as: N.Ireland / Ireland / Scotland / Wales / South-West England / South-East England / North-West England / North-East England and Midlands of England - see below
MEMBERSHIP
- Membership is renewable annually - currently free in all categories
- Adult individual membership is £10 and membership allows access to all areas of earpsports
- Individual membership is £10 for each sport entered (golf or cricket)
- Junior individual membership is free and membership allows access to all areas of earpsports and qualifies the member for golf and cricket individual competitions
- Junior age qualifications vary from sport to sport - please see golf 7, cricket 6 and crushers 5 for further details
- For Junior team membership an adult must register and pay for the team entry - the team pass will be available to team members (see 12 below)
- Whilst Junior membership is free, we strongly advise that participants gain parental / guardian permission before joining
- We advise that team members obtain parental / guardian permission before accessing earpsports.com
- Cricket Adult team membership is £20 and Junior team membership is £10 and allows entry to cricket ‘crusher’ competitions
- Football Adult team membership is £20 and Junior team membership is £10 and allows entry to football ‘crusher’ competitions
- Rugby Union Adult team membership is £20 and Junior team membership is £10 and allows entry to rugby union ‘crusher’ competitions
- All team membership entitles one administrator password and (for cricket and football) an extra 15 team passes allowed on that membership and (for rugby) an extra 20 passes allowed on that membership
- Individual membership is required to access the website fully
- Shared team membership passes entitle full access to the site except individual competition entry
- Non members can access areas of the website as advised

1. All advertised items are free to advertise and earpsorts will take no commission on sales
2. Earpsports will not forward any information to any other party
3. Earpsports will record all contacts from advertisers and may contact for information purposes
