missed putts

Having watched the PGA at the weekend and had money on Robert Karlsson whose missed putt on 18 left him out of the play off, it got me thinking about important missed putts. I guess Doug Sanders in the British Open has been layed a few times, but what/who else?

Any thoughts? Personal or otherwise.

The Aussies are currently softening up the West Indies for England and Earpsports for spring 2009, but how much longer do the Aussies have as number one (by a mile) and who will be the next true great at the top?

We have had the 1948 Aussies (Bradman and co) the 1979-1990 West Indies and the 1996-2005 Aussies.

So whose next? And how long will we have to wait?

Personally, no idea, but I think the South Africans may be the number ones in waiting, but as for dominance we may be five to ten years away from that? And no suggestion who at the moment.

Thoughts anyone?

Not a Man Utd fan personally, but pleased to see an all English (clubs) Champions League Final.

Fantastic goal by an old stalwart and hope Giggs features in the final.

Can't see Chelsea not qualifying tonight, but would like to see Liverpool extend their record to six Champions League/European Cup trophies.

Uncertain as to when West Ham will join in though?

Just a question, how many former West Ham players are likely to line up in the final though?
